The United Nations has repeatedly called on our country to end this blockade. In 1992, the United Nations General Assembly overwhelmingly adopted Resolution 47/19 on the necessity of ending the economic embargo on Cuba imposed by the United States. For 32 years, the UN has voted on this issue. Every year Washington has said, “It’s a non-binding resolution!” and continued on with the blockade.
