Theinjustices exist due to problematic economic barriers, the racial stereotypes promoted byentertainment and mass media in the United States, and the general alienation presented bysociety. The PCPAP is committed to anti-imperialist and anti-fascist struggles. The US government andcorporate powers also imposes its imperialist neoliberal policies onto the countries of LatinAmerica. These policies historically have been in the form of sanctions, regime change, andeven fascist death squads being trained by the United States military through WesternHemisphere Institute Security Cooperation. The destabilization of nations has led to massiverefugee migration movements to the United States which has made it increasingly difficult toseek refuge and gain citizenship. The PCPAP is committed to combating structural issues that interfere with the pursuit of equalityfor Latin Americans and Latino descendants. Through this work, we aim to build a peaceful andjust society in all of the Americas.“These countries are not underdeveloped, they are over-exploited.” – Michael Parenti American Peace Information Center
